Residence RVB is situated in a green residential area amongst detached houses. The residents: a family with two children. The south-facing volume in L-shape on the ground floor is strongly oriented towards the garden. The living areas and pool are completely transparent towards its green surroundings. The north façade, part of the east facade (with exposed concrete) and the garage (in wooden paneling) are completely closed. Two interior patios adjacent to the north facade allow extra light without compromising on privacy. The layout has been approached functionally, cycling through a logical sequence of spaces, starting in the garage, going through the kitchen, dining room & living room and ending in the bedroom of the parents. The pool is directly accessible from both the parents' bedroom and the living room. The children's area is located in a wooden box on the first floor. The volume is open on the southside and is semi-transparent to the west. A terrace with a canopy above, overlooks the garden. The first floor holds two children bedrooms, each with a bathroom, a large storage room and a large multifunctional room which serves as a guest room as well as an office. A spacious basement offers space for some storage rooms and room for HVAC equipment. The driveway and the south-facing terrace, which are completely covered by a canopy, are made out of polished concrete floor. An extra wooden terrace along the glass pool volume faces west.

RVB住宅坐落於綠意盎然的住宅區，周遭獨棟別墅林立。住戶為兩個孩子的四口之家。地面樓層之所以設計為南向L型建築主要是為了擁抱花園。起居區和泳池朝綠地側全然通透，北邊立面、部分東邊立面（清水混凝土）和花園（木板）則完全封閉。兩個室內庭院與北邊立面相連，使得這棟房屋能在保有隱私權的同時獲得更多日照。屋內格局以功能性為設計目標，透過邏輯性的連續空間安排，自車庫開始，經廚房、餐廳、客廳，最後至主臥室形成一個循環。主臥室和客廳都可直接通往泳池。孩童區位於二樓的木質方形建築體中。建築體開口朝南，西側則為半透明狀，並設有一個蓋頂陽台俯瞰著花園。二樓有兩間附衛浴的兒童臥房、一間大型儲藏室，以及一間可作為客房也可當作辦公室的大型多功能室。寬敞的地下室提供了部分儲存空間，也是空調機房所在。車道和面南的陽台（完全蓋頂）採用拋光凝土地板。沿著鏡面泳池邊緣則額外增加一片朝西的木板陽台。
